Tulipa

The rain was splashing down on the red tulips in my garden. It rained for three hours straight battering them all, tearing at their leaves. I ran out and snapped their photo, thinking that there may not be any tulips left after this unrelenting rain. I imagined they must be unhappy to be pounded on like that, so I made the creative decision to alter their colors from bright red to sad blue. That simple change added to the story behind these lovely spring tulips. And yes, they all survived.
