I chose this impactful image for the cover of my collector’s edition book "FlowerStory." It’s bold and colorful and the tulip is animated. I carefully designed this shot using borrowed leaves as tentacles. I wanted to highlight the aliveness I often observe in the natural world. Parrot tulips are exceptionally stunning to me.
