I like pansies. They brighten cold winter days and make me smile. I see them as brave little soldiers lining up to bring joy and life to an otherwise barren garden. So, when it was time to create a meaningful New Years' card, I chose the colorful pansy as my inspiration. Because winter is a time of reflection I created a lake to mirror the purple flower. This reflection was just the message I wanted to convey for the new year ahead.
