Narcissus
Narcissus, 2020
According to Greek mythology, Narcissus was a youth who knelt daily by a lake to contemplate his own beauty. He was so fascinated by himself that one day he fell into the lake and drowned. At the spot where he fell, a flower called Narcissus was born. In this design I wanted to portray the Narcissus flower in a chaotic free fall, tumbling into self reflection and vanity.
