A plant blooming indoors in the dead of winter has been healing for me. While the snow piled up outside, the body of this divine amaryllis glowed with the snow’s reflection from my window. While working on this design I glimpsed a fluttering angel within the flower. I believe that the universe was guiding me in the right direction with a meaningful nod, and a pair of silvery wings.
