This was one of my earliest works. Years ago when I took the photograph of this very interesting cabbage, I thought that it was lovely and colorful. But as I worked on it, layer by layer, it revealed an animated life within. I could see purple veins emerging beneath its skin. I was in awe by its aliveness.
