Some flowers invite me to get closer and closer. This one did just that. And with a macro lens I was able to pick up so much detail. I imagined the flower shining like a big yellow sun. As I zoomed in closer the flower revealed veins beneath its petals, making the photograph pulse with life. The juxtaposition between the cool blue and the hot yellow created an interesting effect, further enhancing my abstract design.
