Anais Nin said "We don't see the world as it is, we see it as we are." I believe this to be quite true. When I looked out at my bare backyard I thought the trees looked lonely without their leaves. So, I cheered them up by recreating my view. It's great to do this sometimes, even when it doesn't involve art, nature, or trees.
